BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes recently predicted that Bitcoin (BTC) could skyrocket to $1 million following Japan’s new stimulus program. The move, led by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, aims to ease inflation pressures by offering subsidies for electricity, gas, and small businesses — but according to Hayes, it might also trigger massive money printing by Japan’s central bank.
Hayes believes that as Japan increases liquidity in its economy, investors will likely flock to scarce assets like Bitcoin. He called this a potential “catalyst for Bitcoin’s rise to seven figures.” The current Bitcoin price today stands at $109,419 USD, marking a 1.38% increase in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, large crypto investors — or “whales” — are re-entering the market, depositing millions into leveraged positions as BTC price stabilizes above the $108,000 support zone.
Institutional Demand Fuels Bullish Outlook
Despite $101M in net outflows from Spot Bitcoin ETFs this week, BlackRock’s IBIT saw $73.6M inflows, showing institutional confidence. These in-kind transfers also lock Bitcoin out of circulation, tightening supply and boosting scarcity.
Technically, Bitcoin remains in a balance zone, holding above its 50-week moving average. This analyst believe that a breakout above $114,000 could confirm a bullish reversal.
Bitcoin Price Prediction 2025
According to Coinpedia’s Bitcoin Price Prediction, the price of Bitcoin could surge to a 2025 high of $167,598, with an average of $119,713 if bullish momentum continues.
